While the area around Falls Creek is not known as a mecca for mountain bike riding, there is still some fun to be had on a bike.
This ride starts at the Falls Creek village. After cruising around the Rocky Valley dam on bitumen, we headed up the rocky Mt Nelse fire trail. The final section to the recently rebuilt hut is along some double track. It is fast and rocky on the way down to the hut, with the return being interesting and a bit technical.
